Rainbow Spotting: Sorbonne University, Paris

It’s been a while since I’ve tried to blend in with university students, but that’s what I found myself doing one Monday, trying to look like a science student heading to class. While I can’t speak to the education at The Sorbonne University in Paris, I can absolutely attest to the joy-inducing effects of the bright coloured levels of their building!

Floors of turquoise, bubblegum pink, sunshine yellow and grass green makes for a vibrant rainbow viewed from the inside through the pill-shaped cut-outs on each level. The building looks completely unassuming from the outside (which is why it took me two attempts over two separate trips to Paris to find it!), covered in glass, but inside it is a riot of colour.
