Although we managed to sleep a whole night through, we're both nursing colds and are a little under the weather. We took things a bit easier today, heading to Oxford Street for some shopping this morning and Harrods this afternoon. Remember our amazing cookbooks that we posted about here? We went to the Leon restaurant for lunch today which was wholesome and delicious and just the sort of healthy comfort food we needed to get us on the mend! Everything about their branding is really well designed and colourful which I'm certain made the meal even more enjoyable.

We'd bought peanuts at Tesco and finally got to feed the squirrels in St James Park.  We strolled through the park with warm coffee and enjoyed the crisp afternoon, and watched the Queen's pelicans waddle along the fence like 3 old gentleman out for a stroll. The squirrels must be used to sharing snacks with strangers (and tourists)because most of them were more than happy to come and take the nut from my hand. It was so much fun, but we both got a little shy once a group of 20 or so people had gathered to watch us, so we moved along and saved the rest of our peanuts for more squirrel feeding another day.
