Chair Tuesday: Air-Liner

Today's wonderfully sleek outdoor chair is from Australian designer Adam Goodrum for Melbourne furniture company TAIT.  Whilst not to everyone's taste (certainly not Megan's) I really quite like its amazingly clean lines.

The beauty is in the simplicity; the sheet aluminium seat and bent steel legs are bare and visible for all to see.  The angles are lovely, superbly refined and crisp.  I would love to sit in it and see how much flexibility the seats have, because I imagine it would have a great amount "give" to accept you as you lay down.

It probably wouldn't fit in with any places that I'll ever live in, but I can certainly picture it sitting along side a modern lap pool in some ultra-modern roof-top apartment.
