Chair Tuesday: Fima
This set of chairs (or lounges, not sure of the scale of this one) are pretty interesting. Manufactured by Italian company Samarreda by designer Phillip Mambretti, it's made from recycled particle board (how's that for sustainability brownie points). Apart from the fact that I have a thing for slot-together furniture, I think the nicest part is that the smaller one is made from the cut-outs of the bigger one. Not sure how comfortable it would be, but the partitions are fairly close together so it would probably be fine. I can't find anything on Samarreda's website, or a website for Mambretti, but the blogs are pretty keen for it. Very nice skeletal properties.
