Plasters of Modern Art Exhibition

My friends at Daisy’s and Mini-Mart Petersham recently invited me to contribute to their one night only exhibition ‘Plasters of Modern Art’, a celebration of all things plaster-painting! It had been a while since I’d done any sort of plaster-painting — I have hazy memories of doing it outside a supermarket once? I just remember a lot of neon yellow paint and a lot of glitter… Anyway!
Bringing it back with a bit of a different twist, the clever clogs at Daisy’s and Mini-Mart hosted a sweet exhibition and silent auction to raise money for EON, a not for profit initiative that builds edible gardens in remote communities. Along with a bunch of other clever local artists, I turned a few blank plasters into a cute Aussie native triptych.
Such a fun little project for a good cause!
