I had a VERY whirlwind trip to London recently — like, so fast that I wouldn’t believe it even happened if it weren’t for a camera roll full of photos! This year has been so jam-packed with amazing travel opportunities, and I’m so grateful for every one of them (however extensive the trip might be). The timing to get to London for some new projects wasn’t perfect, but it was all I had, so 6 days in the UK was what it was!
I spent the week running around all over the city, taking in so much inspiration and amazing colour palettes. Visiting in Autumn was a visual delight, the trees were vibrant oranges, yellows and reds and seeing the leaves flutter to the ground throughout the day felt like movie-magic. Being there just at the start of the Christmas season was a spectacle in itself, so many twinkling lights and beautiful displays in the stores and cafes around the city.
I visited Kew Gardens which had been on my list for years, and it lived up to the hype in my mind (and then some). Seeing the Palm House in person was so amazing and I’ll be thinking back on it forever. I came back home with lots of fresh inspiration and new ideas for some creative ventures coming in 2019. Can’t wait to get to work on all the good stuff it’s going to bring!
