With daylight savings ending in NSW a couple of weeks ago, we're trying to make the most of the nice weather while it's still here! We skipped out of Sydney last Friday for a quick getaway 2 hours north, at beautiful Pearl Beach on the Central Coast.
We spent two days exploring the beach and bush around the area, and eating a couple of times at the local cafe. We fed kookaburras, picnicked on a cliff overlooking the ocean, took some strolls and slow paced bush walks, and generally lazed about. It was such a nice excuse to get away from the city for a couple of nights, and we'll definitely be back. With so many cute houses to take in (some real mid-century gems, like this 1963 beauty below!) we'll try and work our way through staying at some other beach shacks next time!
