A little late on looking back on April, May has rolled around and started off with a bang, so I'm already behind! April was busy with a big project keeping me chained to the desk for a few weeks (and that's hardly even an exaggeration!) and making over the studio, and the Finders Keepers market at the end of the month. See why I'm a little late to catch up? ;) Here's a few snippets of what else we did in April:
A weekend in the Hunter Valley, finding floral walls that match my outfit!
Cups of coffee and M.Sasek (my favourite illustrator), the best way to start the day!
A secret snippet of a secret project. Lots of long days hunched over the drawing board this month, and more to come this month!
Our new Martini Mirror, a glam addition to the mirror range.
Lots of orders ready to be sent out from McKean Studio HQ
Our shiny new studio space after it's fancy facelift! It's much nicer to work in, and while I can't verify the productivity increase, I'm telling myself it's also improved!
City Cubes in the making, lots of tiny pieces of Palm Springs laid out before gluing.
The winter Finders Keepers market, complete with our new cabinets! Definitely worth the effort.
A sly brunch date together before setting up for the markets. I don't know when the last time we went off for a date would be; it was nice to snag an hour for avocado toast and coffee!
Our new fairy bread pin, such a cute addition. I've been dreaming of honey jumbles ever since I photographed the pins!
