Lepus Australis

I'm taking part in an art exhibition next month at Melbourne's No Vacancy Gallery. The Lepus Australis show aims to raise awareness of the plight of domestic rabbits in Australia and campaign to have the myxomatosis vaccine legalised in Australia. My piece is tentatively called 'Party Animals', inspired by pet owners who celebrate the birthdays of their furry friends. There's lots of confetti, party hats and big bows. All things that should be present at a birthday party!

I finished the digital side of my piece last week, and have sent it off to be printed onto a very lovely 100% silk to exhibit. I'm doing a very limited run of scarves for the gallery, so please get in contact if you think you might like to nab one before they're sent to Melbourne.

For more information on the show you can head to the Lepus Australis Facebook page.
