Chair Tuesday: Pelt chair

I feel like every time Benjamin Hubert puts out a new chair I have to put it up here. Something about the work he produces really resonates with me, and the Pelt chair is no different. Not too dissimilar in style to the previous Chair Tuesday Arc, this is another great looking chair.

I really like the concept behind the chair, where the plywood is stretched over the frame like an animal hide, hence the name I guess. You can see the craftsmanship Hubert puts into all his work and in this chair it's evident in the joinery and points where the skin meets the frame.

And like most of the work on his site there are lots of process pics where you can see how the product was formed.
