A Wonderful Christmas Time
Christmas this year was pretty ace. I was feeling less grinchy this year in the lead up to Christmas, and by the time the long drive on Christmas Eve arrived, I wasn't even bothered by the Christmas music that Joshua so loves. Maybe I'm finally growing as a person!
Christmas Day was spent in Orange with Joshua's family. It was rainy and cool and perfect not-very-Australian Christmas weather. We drove back to Sydney on Christmas night, and intended to stay at home, but decided last minute to push through and head to the Hunter, getting all our driving out of the way!
A relaxed Boxing Day, visits with my friend (and her very cute cat), lunch with my family and an insanely good ice-cream pudding (with Turkish Delight and Oreos) that my mum made. If I weren't just about in a food coma at the end of that meal I would have gone back for more.
We caught up with friends and extended family, including our friends with a giant flying fox in their backyard! It was a very Merry Christmas for us, and we hope you had a good one too!
