Palette Picking

It's palette picking time again! I'm working on colours for my Tokyo scene to translate into a new Souvenir Scarf. The colour picking is my favourite part of any new project, and I always spend quite a bit longer than I really should when it comes to choosing hues. This time around I'm going for darker, moody greys and steel blues, with pops of bright aqua, pink and a little bit of orange.

I've been loving the work of Belinda Marshall lately, the creator of the bottom two images above.  I'm book marking her abstract work for future art purchase - you know, when we can one day actually hang art on our walls!
